AC Heating FAQ

FAQ

Which heat pump is the best for me?

To get the most out of a heat pump you should have a look on a number of things. Every house is individual and every house has a diferrent heating needs. The key factor is the heat loss of your house which is influenced  by many things like the size of the area you want to heat, how well insulated your home is, how big your windows are and also your climate.

Use our calculator to get an idea of the right size of heat pump for your needs.

Is a heat pump better for radiators or floor heating?

The heat pump is suitable for floor heating and also radiators or their combination. The most optimal way is the heating system with a temperature gradient 55/45°C and lower. If the older heating system has a higher temperature gradient, our systems can solve it – they automatically switch to an alternative service and during the necessary period will only use the backup source.

Differences between using underfloor heating or radiators

Radiators work by heating the air surrounding them using convection. The air heated by a radiator rises towards the ceiling and once this warm air has cooled down, it falls to the ground level to be heated by the convection of the radiator again.
